Happy Retirement!

Updated: Mar 23, 2022

We are at once delighted and disheartened to announce that Don Woodcock is retiring as of today. Don has been an exemplary employee throughout his 33 years of service with the District. He has worked in many positions in Park Services over the years and is retiring as a Park Maintenance Worker II, who specialized in aquatic maintenance.

Don was gifted with a kindness and determination to bring an outstanding level of service in all aspects of his position. His co-workers also recognize Don for his commitment and dedication to the community.

When asked about his many years with the District, Don shared, “It’s [CRPD] a place that you can plant your feet here and you can spend the rest of your life here until you retire. It’s been an amazing place to work for.”

Don's retirement is our loss, but we are excited for him to start another adventure. We all wish Don the very best!
